Brewers vs. Rays World Series: Inside American Family Field Before Game 1
MILWAUKEE (WMTV) — The countdown is on to the start of the World Series. Staff at Milwaukee’s American Family Field are busy preparing for the tens of thousands of fans expected to flood the gates Friday.
The Brewers will battle the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. The historic series will produce a first-time World Series champion.
On Wednesday morning, American Family Field opened the ballpark to the media. The Brewers have added the World Series graphics displayed around the ballpark.
If you want to buy Brewers World Series merchandise, the team stores at the Left Field entrance and Home Plate Gate are stocked with exclusive apparel and collectibles.
The Left-Field store will be open on non-game days Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Home Plate store will be closed on non-game days. All Team Stores will be open for fans when the gates open on game day.
Parking lots will open 4 hours before the first pitch of each home game, and the ballpark gates will open 3 hours before game time. Pre-paid parking passes can be purchased online.
The Brewers ask that you purchase parking before coming to the game, as parking availability on the day of the game will be limited.
Official programs highlighting the Brewers’ journey to the World Series will be available to buy at the ball park, or at designated retail locations.
We are working to learn more about ticket availability ahead of games 1 and 2.
