The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is hoping that the public will be able to identify a man who vandalized a Temple with anti-semitic graffiti. The incident occurred back in April but so far no leads have come in.
With grand jury proceedings suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic, a statewide grand jury that has investigated the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is seeking to make sure it has enough time to conduct its work.
According to the states U.S. Attorney’s Office, 43-year-old Ronde Yarrell sold drugs to undercover officers on five different occasions. In the last transaction, Yarrell sold 6-grams of heroin an undercover officer, according to court documents.
It happened Tuesday around 2:30am. Deputies say the victim was walking to 7-Eleven when 34-year-old Clayton Rhodes of Bradenton pulled up in a vehicle and flashed what appeared to be a firearm, threatening to shoot the victim if the victim didn't get in the vehicle.
Jeremiah Waters, a transient man who lives in a wooded area in Venice, allegedly asked the victim her age. When she responded she was 13-years old, she says Waters commented that she was “too young” to do anything but that he could still talk to her.
Bradley Negron-Cruz, 27, was arrested at his home on the 4200 block of Bell Avenue after detectives say they linked his Skype account to the downloads. While at the home, deputies say they also found breakable glass bottles containing flammable substances often referred to as “Molotov cocktails.”
Deputies say he is wanted in connection with several recent auto burglaries in Sarasota County neighborhoods near Clark and Sawyer roads. The suspect travels on foot and often carries a large backpack, as well as a towel to not leave evidence.
Attorney General Ashley Moody is warning Floridians that if unwitting users click on the website, a program is activated that can access and steal sensitive user data. Her office says it is suspected that the website is being spread through infected email attachments and online advertisements.
Around 10:40am Tuesday, police received a tip that Courtney Garner was in the area of 23rd Street and North Osprey Avenue. Garner was wanted on a federal felony warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Troopers say around 11:30pm, 36-year-old Ralphie Moreno of Bradenton was driving southbound on 9th Street East, approaching 301 Boulevard. The driver of a pickup truck, 37-year-old Osvin Velasquez Varela of Bradenton, attempted to turn left in front of Moreno onto 301 and the vehicles collided.
