Brendan Mackey is a Morning Anchor for Good Morning Suncoast in Sarasota, Florida. He joined the ABC 7 news team in February 2023. Brendan is from Denver, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder (Go Buffs!).
Previously, Brendan was a Morning Anchor in Wausau, Wisconsin. Before that he was a Sports Anchor in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Brendan is thrilled to be living in the Sunshine State and loves getting to know the community. When he is not covering the news, you can find him at the beach exploring the Suncoast for all that it has to offer.
