Roser Food Pantry seeks volunteers, donations as SNAP benefits near expiration

ANNA MARIA, Fla. (WWSB) - Roser Food Pantry said they expect demand to grow as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits move closer to expiring this month.

With the anticipated increase in demand for services, the organization is asking for volunteers, donations, and scheduled pickups.

Anyone interested in helping can send donations to P.O. Box 247, Anna Maria, online, or by calling 941-778-0414.

To donate food, use the storage box outside the pantry or visit the office Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To volunteer, call 941-778-0414. To pick up food, call the office to make an appointment for Monday or Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
