Palmetto Point Chili Cookoff and Fundraiser this weekend!

PALMETTO, Fla. (WWSB) - The Suncoast is still rebuilding after back-to-back hurricanes taking its toll on our homes and property.

One community that was particularly hard hit was Palmetto Point, with its community boat dock taking a beating.

This weekend, the community is coming together with an event to help raise funds to rebuild the boat dock. The Palmetto Point Chili Cookoff and Fundraiser is happening this Saturday, Nov. 16 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Boat Ramp Parking lot near the clubhouse. The team to collect the most tickets wins bragging rights, but everyone wins donating to a good cause.
