Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee County hosts food distribution

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - The Food Bank of Manatee, a PLUS program of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee will host a Hurricane Relief distribution on Thursday for residents in need.

The drive-thru distribution will take place on Oct. 24. 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, located at 811 23rd Ave. East, Bradenton, Florida, 34208.

Items available include non-perishable food items, fresh produce, bottled water, hydration drinks, cleaning supplies, and pet food. Quantities are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.  Time is subject to change.

One of the four PLUS programs of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, The Food Bank of Manatee is the largest hunger relief organization based in Manatee County. As an independent food bank, The Food Bank of Manatee relies 100% on the support of the community to feed those in need in Manatee County.
