Warm Easter Sunday, then lower humidity this week!
SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - After a string of 84° days, we topped off at 83° Saturday. Our sea breeze has kicked in right about Noon. That breeze off the Gulf waters, coming from the west, pushes slightly cooler air in for the afternoon, and we’ll do it again Sunday and Monday. But the humidity will change next week. We’re tracking a cold front that will move across the Suncoast on Monday. That front brings a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms Monday. It also brings in drier air for Tuesday and Wednesday, with dew points back into the 50s for a very comfortable feel to the days. Later in the week, winds will hold out of the northeast, so with no sea breeze to kick in, temps could push into the upper 80s by the end of the week. And it is another dry week ahead!
