SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - It’s beginning to feel somewhat like Summer but mainly for inland areas well east of I-75. With the water temperature around 80 degrees and a nice sea breeze expected to develop each afternoon this weekend we will see high temperatures near the coast in the low 80s so not as hot there. Inland areas away from that breeze look for temperatures to soar into the upper 80s and low 90s.
There is also a small chance for a few scattered storms during the late afternoon and evening for both days. The rain chance is at 20 to 30% for Saturday and Sunday. We will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies throughout Easter weekend and the sunrise services and Easter egg hunts should be ok.
On Monday we will see a weak cold front get pushed through due to a developing low pressure over the SE U.S. This front will not have a lot of moisture to work with so only expect a few scattered storms mainly during the day. This will bring some slightly cooler and drier air on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

We could use the rain as there are already burn bans being issued for S. Sarasota County as conditions remain dry.
