SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Starting Monday, individuals who are now 50 and older can receive the COVID-19 vaccine across the state of Florida.

The Florida Department of Health released a graphic to show all groups that are now eligible. Keep in mind that neither Sarasota nor Manatee County are using the state-run vaccine. You must register through your respective county health department for the vaccine if you want one from a state-run site.

Manatee County will most likely begin vaccinating some 50+-year-old individuals starting Tuesday. But Sarasota County tells ABC7 that it may be closer to two weeks until they can move to vaccinate those age groups.
