SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - We continue with the cloudy skies to start off the new work week. The clouds will reduce the heating of the day and keep our high temperatures a bit below the average. We will not be as cool as Sunday when we stayed in the 60′s, but our high in the low 70′s will be about 5 degrees below what we normally expect in March. All that changes by as early as tomorrow and the trend for warmer weather continues into next weekend.

There is a low-pressure area off the coast of Jacksonville that has pushed some clouds back our way. That low is in the process of pulling away and weakening. As that happens an expanding area of high pressure will build in and sunshine will return. All of this will cause a wind shift to the southeast this week which will slowly increase our temperatures from the lower 70′s today to mid to upper 80′s by mid-week. Humidity will also increase and it will, by most folks standards, humid by the weekend.
