SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Look for plenty of sunshine for both Saturday and Sunday as high pressure builds in from the Gulf behind the cold front which brought all the clouds and rain on Friday.
It will be chilly to start the day on Saturday as temperatures will be in the upper 40′s to low 50′s and with the wind out of the NNE at 10-15 mph it will feel much colder. Look for mostly sunny skies however with highs in the mid to upper 60′s later in the day. Dry air will be moving in and no rain expected over the weekend.
Saturday night we will see mostly fair skies with lows in the low 50′s on Sunday morning. So a light jacket may be necessary for an early tee time or off to church on Sunday morning. Sunday is going to be a really nice day with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 70′s by the afternoon.
Monday we start off warm with lows in the upper 50′s to low 60′s and warm into the upper 70′s under partly cloudy skies along with a 40% chance for late day showers as another weak cold front moves in.
Tuesday we will see mostly sunny skies breezy and cooler temperatures with highs in the low 70′s. After Tuesday look for partly cloudy skies for the rest of the work week and highs well above average. Expect highs Wednesday through Friday in the upper 70′s.
For boaters expect choppy conditions with seas running 2-3 feet and winds out of the N at 10-15 knots subsiding a little in the afternoon.
