SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -After a cool and breezy start to our weekend the wind will start to back off but the cold temperatures will not. Overnight Saturday into early Sunday many locations will wake up to temperatures in the upper 30′s to lower 40′s with a frost advisory in effect for Desoto, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, and Polk counties until 8am on Sunday. Make sure to brings your plants and pets in and check on your neighbors.
Sunday will be cool but we will get a few peaks of sun and winds will calm down allowing for better boating; however, make sure you have a jacket. A week front moves through late Monday into Tuesday bringing a stray chance for a shower overnight, but the moisture availability is very limited. High pressure moves back in by the end of the week allowing for better clearing and temperatures back in the upper 60′s to lower 70′s.
