Florida DOH reporting 185 new COVID-19 deaths

(WWSB) - The Florida Department of Health is reporting a slightly decreased 11.43% positivity rate in its daily COVID-19 Dashboard update.

Sarasota and Manatee Counties also have a decreased percentage rate at 6.43% and 9% respectively. Since March, the DOH has recorded 1,449,252 total cases of COVID-19 and 22,666 deaths, an increase of 185 deaths since Thursday’s update. That does not mean that all new deaths occurred in the last 24 hours.
