SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - It’s a warm Thanksgiving Day on the Suncoast in the low 80s, but still far short of the 350° in the oven today! Skies are mostly sunny for the day and the dry and warm conditions linger through the holiday weekend. Some pockets of fog will be possible in the hours near sunrise Friday and Saturday.
We are tracking a strong cold front that will push through the Suncoast Sunday night to Monday morning. Rain and a few strong thunderstorms will occur with that front, just in time for the new work week. And much cooler air returns with chilly morning temps, and highs only in the 60s!
