SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Much cooler air is on the way for the Suncoast with a one-two punch of successive cold fronts. With the month on the way to being in the top one or two hottest Octobers on record and the long range winter outlook for a warmer winter than normal, many will enjoy the cooler weather. Starting as early as tomorrow the first front will approach and sink south of us overnight. The front may trigger a few showers in the late evening and overnight but by drive-time tomorrow morning the roads should be dry. Tomorrow’s day time high temperature will be almost 10 degrees cooler and much less humid. Over the weekend the temperatures will start to climb once again, but the humidity will still be lower.

The second surge of cooler air will move into the area Sunday night or Monday morning. This will be another significant area of sprawling high pressure and being an extended period of dry and sunny skies. The next work week will start with night time lows in the upper 50′s and highs in the upper 70′s with very comfortable humidity. Time to shut off the AC and open up the windows!
