SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The City of Sarasota voted unanimously on Monday to explore the possibility of purchasing the Salvation Army’s land on 10th Street.
The topic was one of the items on the city’s agenda during its meeting today.
Commissioner Willie Shaw feels the facility has been outgrown with the number of people on the outside.
The Salvation Army has been alerted to the discussion plans.
