SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The City of Sarasota Announced today that it will take action to extend its public health emergency amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement released by the Sarasota Police Department, the city will enforce prohibition against all social gatherings of 10 or more people.

“We’ll continue to educate, encourage and enforce this,” officials said.

This announcement will effect social gatherings on public and private property.
