During a press conference Wednesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a 30-day “Stay at home” mandate that will begin Thursday night at midnight.
“I’m going to be doing an executive order today directing all Floridians to limit movements and personal interactions outside the home to only those necessary," said DeSantis.
People can go outside only for essential activities. There will be a list spelling out those exceptions later today.
Under the governor’s order, non-essential businesses can stay open.
