SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - With a cold north wind we can expect wake-up weather to be rather chilly for Florida standards on Tuesday. You will need to bundle up as you head out to work as lows will be some 10-12 degrees below average.
Inland areas will drop into the low 40′s and with a north wind at 5-10 mph it will feel even colder. Since the water temperature is in the low 70′s don’t expect it to get that cold on the Islands but low 50′s will not be out of the question.
This northerly component to the wind will keep temperatures well below average through the day as highs will only get into the mid 60′s with partly cloudy expected.
Tuesday night and Wednesday will be another cold one as lows will drop into the low 50′s to start the day off on Wednesday. We should see plenty of sunshine on Wednesday but still cool. The average high for this time of year is 76 degrees and we will see highs on Wednesday around 72.
Thursday and Friday expect more of the same with slightly warmer temperatures and no chance for rain and plenty of sunshine.
By the weekend we will see mostly sunny skies and highs back above average in the upper 70′s to near 80 degrees.
Stay warm my friends.
