Fire Chief Kevin Easton tells ABC7 the fire started on the outside of the building along the parapet wall on the roof. They were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

Chief Easton says there was no fire inside the building, but the restaurant suffered water damage and fire crews had to access the ceiling to ensure that no fire had spread inside.

The restaurant is currently closed. There is no word on when it will re-open.

A State Fire Marshal will conduct an investigation to determine how the fire started.
