Man crashes into Bradenton home after being shot behind the wheel

One person taken to the hospital following Bradenton shooting

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - A 30-year-old man crashed his SUV into a Bradenton home after being shot while driving on the 3500 block of 39th Street East.

Deputies say it happened around 9am Wednesday and they were called to the scene by the victim, who told them he had been shot by two black men driving a gold-colored Nissan Altima before he crashed his SUV into a home.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was struck multiple times and was transported under a trauma alert to a local hospital. His condition is serious.

The sheriff’s office says no additional details are available at this time.
