TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) - Tampa International Airport is breaking ground on phase two of its expansion. The project began earlier this year.
It includes 16 express curbsides for passengers who are traveling without checked bags to head straight to their gates.
It also includes a 35-acre commercial development around the rental car center.
The airport’s three phase master plan will allow the airport to serve 34 million passengers a year.
