Car fire extinguished in North Port

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - The North Port Fire Department (NPFD) has successfully extinguished a car fire that occurred on Friday afternoon.
The fire took place on South Salford Boulevard at Wooley Avenue and NPFD along with the North Port Police Department quickly responded to the scene.
South Salford Boulevard was shut down for a brief time.
There have not been any injuries reported.
