SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - High pressure is our fair weather friend.
We will have the benefit of this high pressure system sticking around this whole week. The drier air has also filtered on down the state and as a result, we are experiencing very beautiful sky conditions with a spotty shower showing up as a result of the day time heating.
Highs today climbed into the 90′s for several locations. Lows tonight will be in the low 70′s. We can expect a very slight chance of rain through Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and then from Wednesday on we are expecting dry and hot conditions with highs in the low 90′s.
An area of disturbed weather has showing up south of Bermuda and north of the Bahamas. This elongated low has a 40% chance of developing over the next 5 days but it will be moving away from the state of Florida and will not be a concern for us. Boaters can expect quiet conditions at the beach and the Bay.
