SARASOTA (WWSB) - A weak cold front and some energy moving in from the Gulf will bring some clouds along with a good chance for showers and a few thunderstorms on Tuesday. Expect mostly cloudy skies with a 60% chance for showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday.
Wednesday high pressure will be slipping in from the north and this will push the front and the system well to the south and east of our area. This high pressure system will become stronger through the work week which will shut down any chance for rain.
Temperatures will be near or slightly below average on Tuesday with highs in the low to mid 80s. By Wednesday we will see temperatures starting to warm back up into the mid 80s.
For the rest of the work week through the weekend expect generally sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s to near 90 through Sunday.
