SARASOTA (WWSB) - Cast Iron Apple Crisp

Gold Rush BBQ

Serves 10

Filling

6 Apples of choice peeled and sliced

4 Tablespoons butter

1 juice of lemon

¼ cup brown sugar

Dash of salt

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Crisp Topping

1 cup flour

1 cup rolled Oats

1 cup Brown sugar

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

4 Tablespoons melted butter

Add Filling ingredients to a cast Irion skillet and melt butter and brown apples.

Add all crisp ingredients in a bowl and mix together leaving clumpy as possible

Spread topping out over browned apples.

Cook the apple crisp at 350 for 30 minutes.
