Deputies searching for man who shot two people outside of a club in Bradenton

BRADENTON (WWSB) - The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning shooting at a club in Bradenton that sent two men to the hospital.

Sheriff’s deputies say a fist fight broke out outside of Spot 26 on 26th Street West in Bradenton around 2:45 Monday morning after the club had closed. Three people were involved in the fight.

Deputies say a man known as “Scooter” pulled out a gun and shot the other two men. He then took off.

Deputies say one victim ran down the middle of 43rd Avenue West toward Waffle House, where someone drove him to a hospital. The other victim collapsed by the back door of the club and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, both victims are alive but their conditions are unknown.
