Cooler and drier air to move in over the weekend

SARASOTA (WWSB) - After a wild Friday things will be much calmer for the weekend but a bit cooler. Highs on Saturday will only get into the mid 70s. With NW winds at 10-20 mph it will feel cooler as well. We should see plenty of sunshine with some occasional cloudiness rolling in from the Gulf only with an isolated shower now and again.

The area low pressure will be moving through the Mid Atlantic coast and moving out into the Atlantic. The winds will be rotating around in a clockwise fashion and will swing some cloudiness through the area once in a while. There is no real threat of any significant rainfall as some dry air has moved into the mid to upper layers of the atmosphere.

First Alert Weather - 6:00pm April 19, 2019

Look for mostly fair skies Saturday night and cool weather. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s on Sunday morning. There will be a lot of sunrise services on Sunday and it will be cool so a jacket or sweater will be necessary.

Plenty of sunshine on Sunday with highs in the upper 70s.

The work week looks sunny and warmer through Thursday with highs in the low to mid 80s.
