Seafood Fried Rice


  • 12 oz jasmine rice, cooked
  • 8 oz butter shrimp
  • 4 oz white and purple cabbage, shredded
  • 4 oz green bell pepper, julienne
  • 4 oz white onion, julienne
  • ½ tsp garlic, slivered
  • 2 oz ponzu sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp light olive oil
  • 1 each egg
  • 4 oz calamari
  • 1 cup chick pea flour
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 oz scallions, chopped (for garnish, at end)


  1. In a hot wok, add light olive oil. Toss in vegetables and egg. Add garlic and ginger. Quick sautee. Add shrimp and sautee. Add cooked rice, sesame oil and ponzu sauce. 
  2. Coat calamari with salt and pepper seasoned chick pea flour. Pan fry in a separate pan with olive oil. 
  3. Serve rice mixture with crispy calamari on top. Garnish with scallions.
