Senior athletes can register now for the Gulf Coast Games for Life

SARASOTA (WWSB) - Registration is now open for the 30th Annual Gulf Coast Games for Life.
The games will be held Feb. 2-10 at various locations in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
The games are open to amateur athletes 50 years and older.
Events are held in a variety of sports, including corn hole, bocce ball, bowling, pickleball, shuffleboard, volleyball, swimming, table tennis and more.
The games are designed to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles for seniors and give them the opportunity to compete in a wide variety of sports.
It's also a great way to enjoy the beautiful parks and preserves across the Suncoast.
The games are a qualifying event for the Florida Senior Games State Competition in December.
Registration for the 2019 Gulf Coast Games for Life ends on January 18th.
