New Year brings Workers’ Comp changes

TALLAHASSEE (WWSB) - Businesses across Florida will begin to see lower workers' compensation insurance rates in 2019.
Regulators have approved an overall 13.8 percent decrease.
The decrease follows a 9.5 average rate reduction in 2018.
The National Council on Compensation Insurance, which files rate proposals for the industry each year, says the decrease is in line with trends in other states.
