SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Not as many storms over the past couple of days as a result some drier air that has moved into the mid to upper levels of the atmosphere.
This pattern will stick around through Wednesday and then things start to shift a bit. A trough or line of low pressure will move in from the North and bring some instability and moisture back in place.
These two features will allow for some showers and thunderstorms to develop and push toward the East in the afternoon and evening. With a SW flow expected out ahead of the trough we may see overnight and morning storms along the coast and then mainly inland during the afternoon.
This pattern should stay with us through Father's day. There is still some question as to what may develop on Monday. Models are indicating something may flare up.
