The weak cold front will continue to move through this evening with little or no rain expected. Slightly cooler and drier air will start things off on Thursday.
While the front will fade late Thursday, high pressure will build in over N. Florida on Friday. This will bring a return to SE flow over the area and increase the moisture content in our atmosphere.
This will bring a much better chance for showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening right on through the weekend.
Wind shear and drier air has put a stop to the tropical disturbance located east of the Lesser Antilles. The National Hurricane Center has now lowered the chances of development to 50%. It had been as high as 80% on Tuesday.
