Once again on Tuesday we can expect the East coast sea breeze to make its way toward the W. Coast late in the day. This will create showers and thunderstorms to roll in again bringing heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes.

Some slightly drier air will move in on Wednesday, but we will still see some late afternoon and evening storms. This pattern of storms will continue through much of this week.

In the tropics we have newly formed tropical depression number 5. It is located in the SW Gulf of Mexico and will move toward Mexico. It will not have much time to develop into a strong storm, but it will bring a good deal of heavy rain into E. Mexico. This will cause life threatening flooding by mid week. Elsewhere in the tropics all is quiet.
