Interesting weather over the next 48 hours. It could be argued that some of the tropical moisture remaining from Pacific hurricane Olidle will exit Texas and be drawn into a bit of energy moving into the Gulf. As it does so rains will develop and inch closer to the Suncoast. Most of the rains will be to our north but as the atmosphere moistens we will see the rain shield expand to the south and into our area by the afternoon or evening. Rain chances will be light in the morning compared to the elevated chances this evening and into Saturday.
As the cluster of showers moves across the state overnight and exits into Atlantic waters some drier air will move in making Sunday the sunnier of the two weekend days.
Tropics are calm near Florida.
