A stalled front and weak low pressure will bring elevated rain chances again today. As the low spins inland just north of us, our skies will be a mix of sun and clouds with rain showers most numerous in the afternoon. As the front lifts out and the low fades we will return to a more typical west wind pattern with mostly inland storms tomorrow.
Area rivers and creeks will slowly recede and by Saturday the water should be below flood stage in most areas.
A cold front will eventually make it's way through our area late Saturday. This front will usher in some slightly cooler and much drier air our way, removing rain from the forecast.
Tropics are calm.
