Rain showers will give way to clearing skies today. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches widespread with pockets of 3+ rainfalls will be seen on the Suncoast before this event is over.  As we move into the afternoon the impulses in the atmosphere producing rain will move away and clearing will occur. Winds will be brisk out of the north and we will see high surf advisories and small craft advisories posted today. Temperatures will be cooler than yesterday as the winds have shifted 180 degrees and are now out of the north. Humidity will be sliced as well. By tonight we will see clear skies.

Tomorrow will see full sun and a cool breezy afternoon near 70. It will be dry for the next seven days.
