Scattered storms can be expected through the evening and then mostly fair after midnight.

This pattern of afternoon storms will continue through the weekend. Highs will be above seasonal averages through Sunday.

Better chances for more widespread storms can be expected on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

We continue to monitor the progress of an area of disturbed weather near Puerto Rico. Recon aircraft having a hard time finding a tight enough low pressure to classify it as a tropical depression.  It is likely that it will become our next system in the next day or two.

There is still a lot of uncertainty with where this system will go, but the general thinking is that it will move toward the Central Bahamas and then head up North and away from FL. Stay tuned as this is subject to change.
