Like yesterday, expect a dry and warm afternoon

We get another day of relatively low dew points which will make the afternoon more comfortable than it might otherwise be if humidity were higher. The dry air is aloft as well as at the surface and rain chances for the next twenty four hours are very low because of that.  As we move into the holiday weekend the moisture will slowly return and rain chances will begin to increase. In addition, the strong wind from out of the northeast that has kept our sea breeze at bay will finally begin to slacken. That will bring back typical afternoon storm development. Highs today will be in the low to mid 90's.

No tropical impact for the state of Florida is expected for the next five days.
