Dry air aloft has limited the shower and storm chance for this afternoon. But even if a few develop, they'll be inland, and then move eastward due to a westerly sea breeze.
Today is the official last day of summer, and with higher then normal temperatures (average is 89), we'll continue to feel temps in the low 90's around the Suncoast.
And the Heat Index, or feel like temperature, will feel like we're experiencing highs in the upper 90's.
However, here's a cool thought for you... Tomorrow happens to be the first day of Fall!
