A storm system in the Gulf along with a cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms through our area into Weds. morning. The threat of severe storms has diminished, however some of these storms may contain some gusty winds.

A flood watch is in effect for the Suncoast from Sarasota County northward through Wednesday morning. In fact there are numerous advisories that are in effect from high surf, rip current and small craft through Wednesday.

The forecast models are suggesting that the storms will eventually come to an end a couple of hours after sunrise on Weds. Once the system moves out winds will whip around to the NW-N and increase in speed. This will usher in much cooler and drier air for Thanksgiving through Saturday morning.

Expect skies to remain mostly sunny through the weekend with a gradual warming trend.

Thanksgiving day looks great. Sunny skies and cooler temperatures with highs in the mid 60s and much lower humidity.
