Tropical moisture, a stalled front and some daytime heating will once again bring a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. A few scattered showers will be possible along the coast this morning. Later in the day there will be a better chance for thunderstorms moving from west to east and some of the storms could produce brief heavy rains. The rain chance is 60%.
Area rivers and creeks will slowly recede and by Saturday the water should be below flood stage.
With the ground already saturated, any additional rainfall will only cause more problems for our rivers and streams.
In the tropics a system may pop up off the SE U.S. during the next several days. This system if it were to develop would track away from Florida.
