Humidity will start to increase today and noticeably more humid by mid week. Mostly sunny skies today with a warm afternoon and very little rain chance. High temperatures will be in the mid 80's with partly cloudy night skies and lows in the mid 60's.
Forecast models are still showing some tropical moisture in the SW Gulf lifting north and east over the course of the work week. This will increase our rain chances as we move into mid and late week. Some models tap into the warm water and marginal winds and allow the spin up of a tropical or tropical hybrid system in the southwest Gulf that drifts north east. We will watch for signs of this but the Hurricane center only gives a 30% for development five days down the road. In any case our rain chances will go up.
