A cool late winter day on Friday as winds were whipping out of the NW at 15-20 mph with gusts nearing 30 at times. The winds will slowly subside overnight, but still a bit breezy on Saturday.
High pressure will slide over N. Florida over the weekend, which will switch the winds around more toward the N and NE, which will clear the clouds out on Saturday. This high pressure will stay anchored over the SE U.S. which means clear skies are in the forecast.
Temperatures will be cold to start the day on Saturday, with lows in the low to mid 40s in most places. Highs will warm into the low 70s for most by the afternoon.
Warmer weather will move in on Sunday with temperatures going back to near or slightly above average.
