With plenty of moisture and a stationary boundary we can expect another round of scattered showers and an occasional thunderstorms rolling in from the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday. The rain chance stays fairly high at 50%. Some of the storms will contain brief periods of very heavy rainfall. With the ground already saturated we can expect some areas to experience some minor flooding again on Wednesday.

Area rivers and creeks will slowly recede and by Saturday the water should be below flood stage in most areas.

A cold front will eventually make it's way through our area late Friday and early Saturday. This front will usher in some slightly cooler and much drier air our way.

In the tropics a system may pop up off the SE U.S. during the next several days. This system if it were to develop would track away from Florida.
