Showers and thunderstorms will be developing each afternoon and evening across the Suncoast this holiday weekend. Some of the storms will produce some locally heavy rain and frequent lightning.

Some of the storms could approach severe limits. Temperatures will stay close to seasonal averages.

The tropics remain quiet for the Suncoast, but busy to our South in the Caribbean. A system moving through the Cent. Caribbean has a 30% chance of developing as it moves WNW.
