Look for a good chance for showers and some isolated thunderstorms overnight. Some of these could bring some heavy rain as the moisture has moved back in. This first round of storms will be associated with the trough out ahead of the actual cold front. The cold front will move in on Wednesday along with some upper level energy. These factors will bring the possibility of some locally heavy rain on Wednesday.

The front will clear and some drier air will settle in for only a day, and then back to the storms as we head into the weekend.

Temperatures will be close to or slightly below seasonal averages with the passage of this front.

In the tropics all is quiet for the Suncoast as Edouard continues to move through the open waters of the Atlantic.
