Sarasota, FL (WWSB) - After a couple of days of dry weather it's back to some storms on Thursday.
Just what we needed after the beast of a storm Irma moved through, some dry weather to clean things up.
We have seen no rain here since Irma moved out, but now that is about to change. An increase in moisture returns on Thursday which will bring some scattered showers and possible thunderstorms to our area.
They will be isolated in the morning and scattered in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s for most and lows in the mid 70s.
The rain chance on Thursday is at 40% and 50% on Friday. We will see a nice weekend however as high pressure builds in over the top of the Suncoast.
The latest on Jose is that it will stay away from the United States. It's going to eventually move between the US and Bermuda over the weekend.
Elsewhere in the tropics all is quiet at this time.
