First Alert Weather: Rain chances staying low and mainly inland

SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - Inland areas have been getting their fair share of rain as of late and it looks like this pattern will continue on Friday.

High pressure will continue to dance off the W. coast of Florida which will bring a light wind regime.  The overall flow will be out of the W/SW which will favor a few isolated showers along the coast in the a.m. and early p.m.

The best chances and their not much will be inland areas on Friday with a slightly better chance over the weekend.

Highs will be in the low 90s away from the beaches and upper 80s near the coast.  The heat index will be near 100 each afternoon.

Low will be in the upper 70s to near 80 with the lack of rainfall.
