First Alert Weather: More sunshine for the weekend with highs in the 80s

Sarasota, FL (WWSB) -  After a cloudy cool day on Friday, we can expect to see more sunshine over the weekend as high pressure moves in behind the front.

Skies should be mostly sunny throughout the morning, followed by increasing cloudiness for the afternoon.   A breeze out of the NE will bring in some late day moisture with a chance for a few late day showers, mainly E. of I-75.

This pattern will continue through Sunday and then a weak cold front will move in late on Monday.

Temperatures are expected to climb into the low 80s through Monday.  We will cool only slightly on Tuesday through Thursday with highs in the upper 70s.

The rain chance for today is only at 20%.  If we see any rain it will be only a brief shower moving fairly quickly off to the West.
