First Alert Weather: Better chances for storms on Thursday

Sarasota, CO. FL (WWSB) - Expect a few more storms on Thursday as we see a slight increase in moisture.

High pressure is pretty much centered over Florida which will limit the overall coverage of storms, but we will still see a few more than we have had recently.

The rain chance will be high on Friday and then taper off for Saturday some drier air moves in for just a day.

Rain chances will bounce back up on Sunday and stay high through much of next week.

Highs will be in the low 90s and lows in the upper 70s.

There are 3 areas in the deep tropics which are showing signs of developing. Disturbance #1 has a real good chance of developing over the next 5 days as it makes its way through the Caribbean.

Disturbance #2 has a good chance as well. The forecast for this system is more toward the WNW. In 5 days it could be somewhere near the Central Bahamas. We will have to keep a close eye on this one down the road.
